Moving machinery isn't the same as moving ordinary freight.
Agricultural, construction and industrial equipment comes in every combination of height, width, weight and configuration. Choosing the right trailer, planning how the equipment will be loaded and securing it properly are all part of getting the job done right.
Phil’s Transport Ltd. provides professional machinery and equipment transportation throughout Canada and the United States — from dealership to farm, yard to job site, auction to buyer and everywhere in between.
Tell us what you're moving. We'll work out the rest.
From Dealership to Farm — and Farm to Farm.
Agriculture is built around equipment, and that equipment doesn't always stay in one place.
We transport agricultural machinery for farmers, dealerships, equipment companies and auction buyers, coordinating the trailer and transportation requirements around the specific piece being moved.
Our agricultural equipment hauling services are well suited for:
Farm tractors
Combines
Swathers and windrowers
Sprayers
Seeders and planting equipment
Headers and attachments
Tillage equipment
Hay and forage equipment
Skid steers and loaders
Other agricultural machinery
Whether it's a new tractor headed from the dealership to the farm or equipment purchased hundreds of kilometres away, we'll help get it where it needs to go.
Yard to Job Site. Job Site to Job Site.
Construction equipment needs to move when the project does.
Phil’s Transport provides transportation for contractors, equipment dealers, rental companies and industrial customers who need machinery delivered to and from job sites.
We can transport equipment including:
Excavators
Loaders
Skid steers
Backhoes
Dozers
Telehandlers
Compact construction equipment
Attachments and implements
Generators and compressors
Other job-site machinery
We coordinate pickup and delivery requirements so the equipment arrives where it's needed and ready for the next job.
Not every machine has wheels or tracks.
Industrial equipment can be heavy, tall, awkwardly shaped and difficult to handle — which makes trailer selection and load planning especially important.
Phil’s Transport can move:
Manufacturing machinery
Industrial equipment
Tanks and vessels
Generators
Compressors
Pumps
Skid-mounted equipment
Crated machinery
Fabrication equipment
Large industrial components
Give us the dimensions and weight, and we'll determine the right way to move it.
We Don't Try to Make the Load Fit the Trailer.
We start with the equipment and work backward.
The dimensions, weight, ground clearance and loading requirements all help determine whether the piece belongs on a flat deck, step deck, drop deck or another specialized trailer configuration.
For taller machinery, a step deck may provide the additional clearance needed to keep the overall loaded height down.
For equipment that falls outside legal dimensions, we can coordinate the permits, route planning, timing restrictions and pilot cars required for an over-dimensional move.
The objective is always the same: use the equipment that makes the most sense for the load.
Getting It On and Off the Trailer Is Part of the Job.
Machinery transportation doesn't begin when the truck leaves the yard.
Before pickup, we determine how the equipment will get onto the trailer. At the destination, we make sure there's a plan for getting it off.
Depending on the piece and location, that could involve:
Driving equipment on and off
Forklift loading
Crane loading and unloading
Boom truck service
Loading ramps
Coordination with dealerships or auction yards
Job-site loading and unloading arrangements
Working those details out ahead of time helps prevent a truck from arriving only to discover that the equipment can't be loaded — or unloaded.
Bought It? Now You Need to Get It Home.
Buying machinery at an auction can mean finding the right piece hundreds or even thousands of kilometres away.
Phil’s Transport can coordinate transportation from equipment auctions throughout Canada and the United States, helping move your purchase from the auction yard to your farm, business or job site.
Send us the auction location, equipment information and destination. We'll review the dimensions, determine the trailer requirements and coordinate the move.
One less thing to figure out after the hammer drops.
Machinery can represent a significant investment.
Getting it to the destination isn't enough — it needs to arrive in the same condition it left in.
Our drivers have real open-deck experience and understand the importance of proper equipment positioning, weight distribution and securement.
We pay attention to securement points, vulnerable components, attachments and anything else that needs consideration before the truck moves.
Because a successful equipment haul ends with the machine unloaded safely and without a scratch.
Large agricultural and construction equipment can quickly exceed standard legal dimensions.
When it does, Phil’s Transport can coordinate the additional requirements involved in the move, including:
Oversize and overweight permits
Route planning
Provincial and state requirements
Travel-time restrictions
Pilot and escort vehicles where required
Cross-border transportation planning
We handle these details on both sides of the Canada–U.S. border.
Send us the dimensions and weight before you commit to the move, and we'll help determine exactly what's involved.
